We are pleased to announce that the registration for the next Global Flood Partnership Annual Meeting is open! This year's meeting will take place on 11 - 13 June 2019 in Guangzhou, China hosted by Sun Yat-sen University.
If you are new to the GFP community you may want to have a look at the report of last year's GFP Conference in Delft, Netherlands. Together we will discuss how to best foster the dialogue between scientists and users and how GFP products and expert knowledge can work in synergy to provide key information to emergency managers at different stages before, during and after severe floods.
Updated Draft Agenda: An updated draft agenda is available and can be found here (see also left hand side).
Instructions for participants are available here
Logistics & Visa: Logistics and Visa information is provided at the end of the draft agenda here.
Registration: There is no registration fee. To register CLICK HERE .
Registration will remain open until the maximum venue capacity is reached. Note that oral presentation slots are basically all filled but there is always room for posters!
Similar to last year's meeting there will be different opportunities for participants to present their work and exchange ideas, and make the meeting interesting and lively. This includes a "Marketplace" session, "Ignite talks", an interactive session, poster pitch session and a Guided tour of the Guangdong Emergency Management Agency.
For any additional details, please contact the GFP Steering Committee and meeting organizers. Feel free to circulate this announcement to any interested colleagues.
